In order to calculate the odds, you divide the odds by one and then plus the odds. So, if you were trying to work out 2/1, you would do 1 divided by (2+1), or ‘1 / (2+1)’ this shows you that the probability of winning such a bet is around 33% and therefore that you have around a 66% chance of losing the bet.
