BabyGearLab: Welcome! I’m Dr. Juliet Spurrier, a board-certified pediatrician and the founder of GearLab Baby. My mission is to provide the most thorough and scientific reviews of baby products available anywhere. As a new parent, you deserve honest, unbiased, and well-tested assessments to help you make the best choices for your baby.
My Journey
I’ve been in your shoes.
Seven months pregnant, hormonal, and overwhelmed, I stood in front of endless aisles of car seats and strollers, unsure of what to choose. Despite my years as a pediatrician and my deep understanding of infant care, I was paralyzed by the sheer number of options.
I turned to friends, family, books, and online resources. However, I quickly realized that most people recommend what they’ve used, often without comparing alternatives. Plus, baby product trends evolve rapidly, making past recommendations outdated.
After the birth of my second child, I decided to fill this gap by creating GearLab Baby.
