Chiller flow is used to control the flow of air, steam, or liquid. A flow switch sends a trip signal (relay, reed switch, paddle) to another unit in the system, typically a pump. The trip signal will tell the pump whether to turn on or off. Damage protection and circuit cooling are required, or flow rates that are too high or too low must be adjusted.
