BOPET film is a biaxially stretched polyester film. BOPET film has the characteristics of high strength, good rigidity, transparency, and high gloss; odorless, tasteless, colorless, non-toxic, and outstanding toughness; its tensile strength is 3 times that of PC film and nylon film, and its impact strength is BOPP 3-5 times the film, has excellent abrasion resistance, folding resistance, pinhole resistance and tear resistance; heat shrinkage is very small, at 120 ° C, only shrinks by 1.25% after 15 minutes; Has good antistatic properties, easy to vacuum aluminum plating, can be coated with PVDC, thereby improving its heat sealability, barrier properties and printing adhesion; BOPET also has good heat resistance, excellent cooking resistance, low temperature resistance Freezing, good oil resistance and chemical resistance.

Except for nitrobenzene, chloroform and benzyl alcohol, BOPET film cannot be dissolved by most chemicals. However, BOPET will be attacked by strong alkalis, so be careful when using it. BOPET film has low water absorption, good water resistance, and is suitable for packaging food with high water content.

BOPP film is a very important flexible packaging material and is widely used. BOPP film is colorless, odorless, odorless, non-toxic, and has high tensile strength, impact strength, rigidity, toughness and good transparency. The surface energy of BOPP film is low. Corona treatment is required before gluing or printing. However, after corona treatment, the BOPP film has good printing adaptability, and can be printed in color to obtain exquisite appearance. Therefore, it is often used as the surface layer material of composite films. BOPP film also has shortcomings, such as easy to accumulate static electricity and no heat sealability. On high-speed production lines, the BOPP film is prone to static electricity, and a static eliminator is required. In order to obtain a heat-sealable BOPP film, the surface of the BOPP film can be coated with a heat-sealable resin glue, such as PVDC latex, EVA latex, etc., or solvent glue. Co-extrusion compounding method produces heat-sealable BOPP film. The film is widely used in the packaging of bread, clothes, shoes and socks, as well as the cover of cigarettes and books. BOPP film's initial tear strength is increased after stretching, but the secondary tear strength is very low. Therefore, no cuts should be left on both ends of the BOPP film, otherwise the BOPP film will easily tear during printing and lamination. BOPP can be used to produce sealing tape after coating with adhesive, which is a market with a large amount of BOPP.

BOPP film can be produced by tube film method or flat film method. The properties of BOPP films obtained by different processing methods are also different. The BOPP film produced by the flat film method has a higher stretching ratio (up to 8-10), so the strength is higher than that of the tube film method, and the uniformity of the film thickness is also good
