Jagex, the developer of RS Gold collaborated with tabletop-gaming company Steamforged Games to create both a board game and tabletop RPG (TTRPG) The book's core concept is inspired by RuneScape's fantastical world of Gielinor.
Both games are expected to please RuneScape along with Old School RuneScape's player communities with fresh and faithful adaptations of the classic characters and quests that combine iconic elements from the games into thrilling tactile experiences that are reimagined as tabletop games. In order to help them accomplish this goal, powerful relics have been scattered throughout the world to be earned through minigames, skills, and taking on powerful bosses. They provide powerful bonuses and odd alterations to the player that receives them, being crucial boons that are needed to take an upper position in the pool of content available. For players willing to experiment These relics can be combined with other relics to create amazing skill sets.
I have to admit that I haven't jumped into Old School RuneScape for some time. Because of Shattered League looking to mix with the normal levelling experience as well as that sweet experience-gain multiplier that makes the entire experience much more enjoyable, this might just be what I needed in order to get back in the game.
These leagues have already proven efficient in gaining the attention to the old School RuneScape community, with the original Trailblazer league back in 2020 with a total of 170,000 concurrent players. It is our hope that this league will be just as popular this time around.
The Shattered League is running from today until March 3. So if you've always wanted to hop back into Old School RuneScape, this is the ideal time to make it happen. If you're thinking of jumping into Old School RuneScape, let us know your reasons below!
Runescape and Outriders aren't two games that people imagine playing in tandem So, seeing an Runescape player join r/Outriders might be a shock. It did result in an interesting discussion and post between fans of each and/or both games. The whole thing boils down to one Former Jagex employees: David Osborne, otherwise known in the Runescape community as Mod Osborne.
Osborne recently made it clear on LinkedIn that he's resigning from Jagex after fifteen years of content editing as well as narrative design and lead design. He made the decision in his own words to "test his experiences with the rest of the industry." Osborne is leaving Jagex and going straight into Square Enix on the publishing side, as a Senior Designer. He'll oversee "some amazing games" beginning with Outriders.
This news prompted Redditor FatNWackyRS to contact the Outriders on r/Outriders, with a short message about Mod Osborne who he described as the "warm and welcoming "Dad" face at Jagex." FatNWackyRS describes everything Mod Osborne has been doing for the community over the years, including some clips with Buy RS Gold, such as playing the role of Mod Elfborne in the promotion of Prifddinas (an Elf City in Runescape) or joining livestreams as well as assisting in the company's vision.
