Selecting the Covenant is among the most crucial decisions made by a character in WoW WOTLK Classic. Four Covenants are available available for players to choose from and they're a faction with a certain set of WOW WoTLK Classic Gold values. Each Covenant is responsible for guiding or otherwise helping souls in their final days, and each will come with their own rewards and perks for players to discover over time.
Each Covenant commands a realm within the WoW WOTLK Classic: the Kyrians control Bastion while the Necrolords oversee Maldraxxus The Night Fae control Ardenweald; and the Venthyr control Revendreth. When a player has reached the new maximum level cap at 60 levels, they receive a quest that takes the player to Oribos and requires them to speak to the leaders of each Covenant and make their decision. The Covenant the player identifies with will determine the course of the rest of their adventure with the expansion, and will dictate some of the most important quests they'll complete.
Thankfully, this is not a decision that is set in the stone. If an individual feels their personality or style of play is simply not suited to the Covenant they have chosen to join, they will have the option of changing Covenants. The process won't take long. Furthermore, if a player is feeling a sense of buyer's remorse and wishes to rejoin their first Covenant at a later time, they are able to join, too, though the process takes a lot longer and requires players to prove themselves by completing tasks in the home realm. Changing Covenants the first time is as easy as making a return to Oribos and contacting one of the leaders in the Covenant that the player wishes his character's name to be a part of. Players can find the various Covenant leaders in these locations:
The Kyrians of Polemarch: Adestres, 36.2. 64.2
Necrolords: Baroness Draka, 43. 74
Night Fae: Lady Moonberry, 39.6. 60.9
Venthyr: General Draven, 44.7. 68.8
The NPC will question the character twice in order to ensure they'd like to make the change. This means that if the character happens to be speaking to another Covenant leader, they will not immediately be switched to an entirely new Covenant.
After the character has agrement to the new Covenant, they will be re-enrolled to the new Covenant and will be given a task to their Covenant Head to gain access to the Covenant's world and visit the Sanctum. It is important to note that any Renown or Sanctum upgrades that they earned or unlocked with their old Covenant do not transfer over to the new one. The player must begin over again and complete the same quests from beginning to end before to get the new Covenant's Signature as well as Class abilities and begin to grind for Sanctum upgrades.
If they decide to leave lateron, they'll be required to go buy WoTLK Classic Gold through a rigorous procedure to return to their previous Covenant. This is due to the fact that individuals in the Covenant will feel incredibly betrayed because of the character of the person who left without much warning.
