It’s a moody little slasher sequel, with a finale setting almost as good as the Good Guy factory in the previous film. The nightmarish, neon soaked haunted house ride the final battle takes place in is like a playset from hell, adding to the themes of Chucky being a dark mirror to childhood innocence.
